1. Returns Eligibility:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- Books with obvious signs of use or any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be eligible for return.
2. Time Frame for Returns:
- You may return an item within 30 days of the original purchase date.
3. How to Initiate a Return:
- To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at admin@darkreads.net to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number.
- Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the package.
4. Return Shipping:
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item).
5. Refund Process:
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
- If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
6. Exchanges:
- We currently do not offer exchanges. If you need a different item, please place a new order.
7. Damaged or Defective Items:
- If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will provide instructions on how to return the item or arrange for a replacement.
8. Non-Returnable Items:
- Gift cards are non-returnable.
9. Late or Missing Refunds:
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
